It's quite an achievement for any student to earn a place on their school's honor roll. It requires hard work, dedication, consistency and of course thoroughly learning the subject matter.
Students who have earned a place on the 'A Honor Roll' have maintained a Grade Point Average (GPA) that qualifies for an A grade overall, of 3.5 or higher. Likewise, students who've earned a spot on the 'B Honor Roll' have maintained a GPA that qualifies for a B grade overall, of 3.0 to 3.5.
The students will have had to have excellent attendance as well, to qualify for the Honor Roll.
