Jack Middleton

Jack Duane Middleton, 92, passed away on Feb. 11, 2023 under hospice care in Urbandale, IA.

Jack was born on Nov. 23, 1930 to Homer and Lena (Pike) Middleton. Jack lived his whole life in Eagle Grove until he moved to Ankeny a few years ago. Jack enjoyed running. He would walk 10 miles on his mail route, then come home and run 4-7 miles. Jack ran a number of Marathons.

Jack enjoyed playing golf and tennis too. Jack was simply a “good guy” loved by all. He always had a smile on his face.

Jack is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marguerite: sons Curt (Teresa) Middleton, David (Sherry) Middleton, daughters Jan and Kathy Middleton and Lynn (Scott) Kremmel; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by a brother Elwood and a sister Darlene.

A private ceremony is being planned.
