Teresa (Tracy) Lynn Kubik

Teresa Lynn Kubik was born Dec. 7, 1959 to Joanne and Gary Kubik in Clarion, Iowa.

She passed away at home at the age of 62 after a short battle against cancer with family at her side.

Her childhood years were spent between Eagle Grove and Gardner, IA after her mom passed away when she was 3 1/2 years old. She grew up with Aunt Phyllis and Bob Comstock and family in Eagle Grove until she was 8 and then lived in Gardner with her dad and wife Kathie until she came back at age 13 to finish school in Eagle Grove.

She graduated with the Class of 1978. She went on to earn degrees in Court Reporting and Electrical Journeyman. She lived in New Mexico for a long time and came back to make Eagle Grove her home in 2003. She most recently worked at Subway.

Tracy was known for having a heart of gold, making delicious kringlas and a love of her dogs!

She was preceded in death by her mother Joanne Kubik, grandparents Hazel and John Kaplan, and Mildred Babcock, Bob and Phyllis Comstock and Craig Comstock.

Tracy is survived by her dad Gary Kubik and wife Kathie, step brothers Patrick and Tony Kubik, Roger and June Comstock, Rhonda and Lynn Fitzthum, Tom and Cheri Comstock, and Dave Comstock along with many nieces and nephews.

Per Tracy’s request, no funeral is planned. Family will gather for a Celebration of Life at a later date. Rest in peace, we will miss you dearly!
