Eagle Grove battled at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Thursday night, coming out of winter vacation with hopes for success. The Eagles faced Garner-Hayfield-Ventura, West Hancock, and North Union.

VS. North Union: 61-12 Eagles win
VS. Garner-Hayfield-Ventura: 54-28 Eagles win
VS. West Hancock: 34-39 West Hancock win
Saturday, Jan. 8, the Eagles participated in a tournament hosted by Winterset High School consisting of 16 teams. The Eagles fought hard, giving it their all during each dual. The Eagles placed 6th out of 16.
