Patrick James Chapman

Patrick James Chapman passed away in South Carolina on November 11, 2020 at the age of 60.

Patrick was born December 25, 1959 to G. James and Judith Chapman in Eagle Grove, IA. He attended Eagle Grove High School where he showed off his athletic talents in basketball. He was very active in Future Business Leaders of America. He was part of a select group that met with former Iowa Governor Robert Ray. He graduated in 1978 and went on to become a professional plumber. Patrick was blessed with his daughter Carrie in 1986 from his marriage to Sharyn Larson. Patrick loved the ocean and spent the rest of his days in Myrtle Beach, SC where he lived with life partner Debbie Harwood. He enjoyed golfing, being with friends, and walks on the beach.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Carrie McCuen (Rusty) of IA; five grandchildren, Keegan, Ireland, Kieran, Kyla, and Siobhan; two brothers, Mike Chapman (Cheryl) of FL, and Tom Chapman (Julie) of AZ; along with many other relatives.

A private ceremony will be held for his family at a later date.
