Marilyn Diggins

Marilyn Kay Diggins, 75, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Services were Friday, May 19 at Elim Lutheran Church, burial at Riverside Cemetery. Mitchell Family Funeral Home cared for Marilyn and her family. For condolences, visit www.mitchellfh.com.

The daughter of Kenneth and Olive (Rice) Swendson, she graduated from Eagle Grove High in 1966. She married the late Rodney “Pete” Diggins June 15, 1974 in Eagle Grove. They lived in Marshalltown, where she was a Registered Nurse at the Iowa Veterans Home.

She is survived by Kenny (Mandy) Diggins, Kristense Rose and grandchildren: Emily, Grace, Herizen and Kazen.
