Judy Luke
Judy Ann Luke, the daughter of Leonard and Betty (Cook) Glissmann, was born June 27, 1951, in Atlantic, Iowa. She graduated from Clarion High School with the “Class of 1969”.
Judy met the “love of her life” and was united in marriage to William Edward Luke on September 5th, 1970. They had two children, Angela and Brett.
In her younger years, Judy enjoyed coon hunting, mushroom hunting, fishing and played on a softball team and bowled in a league. Judy loved spending time with her family, especially seeing her great grandson, Caiden. Her biggest passion in life was going to the casino where she loved winning the jackpots as Judy did the night before she passed. Judy had a humorous personality and loved telling jokes. She also enjoyed gardening, canning and beautiful flowers.
Judy passed away Thursday, December 16th, 2021, at her home in Fulton, IL. at the age of 70 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Danny and Jane; grandparents, Jack and Bertha Glissmann and Elmer and Elsie Cook and a grandson, Devin Resh.
Survivors include her husband, William Luke of Fulton, IL.; daughter, Angela Resh and husband Dennis of Clinton; son, Brett Luke and fiancé Reaiah Thomason of Winter, WI., grandson, Dillon Resh and his fiancé Saundra of Clinton; great grandson, Caiden Resh of Clinton; sister, Kathy Willard of Eagle Grove as well as other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021, at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove with Pastor Jason Cooper officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield.
