Henry John Kroon

Henry John Kroon, Neosho, MO entered into rest December 1, 2020 at the age of 101 years, one month, and six days. Henry was born October 25, 1919 in Sioux Center, IA to Wilhamina (Scholtell) and John Kroon. He was a veteran of the US Navy, proudly serving during WWII. He had worked as the assistant plant manager in charge of maintenance for a soybean processing facility. He came to Neosho in 2016 from Eagle Grove, IA. Henry was a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing and woodworking, activities he maintained until the age of 95. Henry and Gladys VandenBrink were married August 27, 1948.

Gladys survives of the home. Additional survivors include two children, Judith Lynn Leberman of Neosho, MO and Steven John Kroon and wife, Lisa of Austin, TX; three grandchildren, Krista Jirak Kelli Becker, and Kirk Gunter; three great grandchildren, Noah Becker, Jesse Gunter, and Chloe Jirah; and one brother, Stanton Kroon of MN.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings. No services will be held at this time.
