Frank Wearmouth

 Franklyn Edward Wearmouth was born on January 14, 1932 in Humboldt County, Iowa to Franklin and Helen (Northrop) Wearmouth. He was raised and educated in the area of his birth, graduating from Humboldt High School.  

      Frank worked for Dodgen Industries for a few years and then over 40 years for Gunder Church Furniture – which he enjoyed a great deal and was very proud of.

      On August 25, 1999, Frank was united in marriage with Joyce Klingsheim at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.  They made their home in Humboldt, Badger and moved to Eagle Grove in 2007.  Frank volunteered and worked for the City of Eagle Grove at Rose Hill Cemetery.

      Frank was currently a member of Samuel Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove.   You would often find Frank working in his yard or in his shop.  He enjoyed fixing anything – “making it work” – taking something to get fixed was an absolute last resort!

      Frank passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at his home, at the age of 89 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents and in infant brother.

     Survivors include his wife Joyce; daughter, Jennifer Carlson; grandchildren: Amber, Ashton and Addison and several cousins.  

      Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 2, 1:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove with Pastor Paul Stone, officiating.  Burial in Union Cemetery in Humboldt.
