Deborah Joanne Woods

Deborah Joanne Woods (Motley) passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Unity Point Hospice House in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Debbie was born on Nov. 1, 1951 in Sioux City to Thelma and Donald Motley Sr. She attended Central High School and lived in Sioux City until 1982, when she moved with her family to Texas.

She married Craig Woods on January 24, 1970 in Sioux City. She is survived by her husband, Craig Walter Woods, their daughter Shannon Woods Riser and her four children Ella, Madalyn, Jack and Nate. Also by her son Jory, his wife Yvonne, and their daughters Kennedy, Joryn and Cora. Debbie also has a brother, Don Motley (Ann), half brother Brian Motley (Angie), step brother Joe Pendergast and step mother Joanne Motley. Her brother in law Jim Woods (Vicki); sisters in law Linda Zanhow (Les), Patty Woods, Pam Cisney (Paul) and many nieces and nephews.
