Calvin William Anderson

Calvin William Anderson passed away on June 8, 2021, and was born September 4, 1927, in Sibley County, Minnesota. Burial with military honors, will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the French Church Cemetery in Woolstock, Iowa

Calvin married Elva Ruby Laucamp and together raised six children. He worked as the manager of the Woolstock Mutual Telephone Association from 1951 until his retirement in 1992.

Calvin is survived by his sons, Calvin Jr. (Joyce) of Clover, SC; Bruce (Patti) of Kennebunk, ME; Mervin (Deb) of Clive, IA; daughters, Colleen of Bondurant, IA; Becky (Bill) Sponsler of Indianola, IA; and daughter-in-law, Cindy (Mark) Anderson of Waukee, IA; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, son, Mark, one brother, and seven sisters.
