E agle football is 2-0 after another exciting win

first two weeks of this years Eagle Grove varsity football season. One of those is that the Eagles have already won as many games as all of last year, and the other is that they have certainly made it an exciting finish in both cases. If this keeps up, Eagle Nation will start needing some pills to calm the nerves. I don’t think the fans will mind, as long as it results in wins.

The latest victim was none other than the rival Cowboys from C-G-D/CAL, with the Eagles taking a win 13-12 on the Cowboys home field after a 44-yard touchdown strike from Brayden Lyman to Ryan Smith with 1:24 remaining in the game. The try for two-points was no good, but in the end it wouldn’t matter as the purple and gold defense did the rest. The earlier score came on a second quarter touchdown pass, as Lyman hooked up with Niko Padilla from 56 yards away. The Nicolas Lentz kick was good.
