The Wright County Trails Committee will hold a public meeting Monday, June 18 at 9:30 a.m. during the county supervisors’ meeting in Clarion.

The MIDAS Council of Governments will be gathering public input on the long-range trail development plan that has been in the works for the past year.

Persons who cannot attend the meeting may send comments to Shirley Helgevold at MIDAS in Fort Dodge before June 15.

The 110-page trail plan can be viewed on the MIDAS website: www.midascogia.net. Currently the county has about ten miles of trails, and the goal is to develop over 40 miles in the next 25 years.
