Wright County Board of Supervisors have a declared a local State of Emergency for Wright County

The Wright County Board of Supervisors have a declared a local State of Emergency for Wright County due to flooding caused by the rapid snowmelt and rain throughout the county. As of 8A.M. this morning, Wright County Secondary Roads reports more than 50 miles of rural roadways are under water and more are expected to be added as the week continues. In addition, travel is not advised on the gravel roads throughout Wright County due to the condition of the roadways caused by the rapid thaw and water running over the roadways. Drivers are reminded to avoid driving through standing water and to avoid driving around barricades that have been placed to close the roads.
