Wright County Board of Public Health and Wright County Emergency Management is limiting access to all county offices

Wright County Board of Supervisors in conjunction with Wright County Board of Public Health and Wright County Emergency Management have made the decision to limit access to all county offices on March 17th starting at noon until further notice. This should not affect other businesses individual plan. We will be running on normal business hours and citizens are asked to make arrangements in advance or schedule an appointment with the office that they need to visit. We are not closing the courthouse but restricting access for the safety of our employees, clients, and the public.

As directed by the governor effective noon today until further notice moving restaurants to drive-through, carry-out, and delivery only and closures of certain entities such as bars and recreational facilities.

Questions regarding elections and drainage can be handled on the phone and forms can be mailed election forms can be downloaded from the Iowa Secretary of State website.

Office is closed to the public at this time. All communications need to take place by the phone or email.

Charitable foundation can call Economic Development for inquires. All other needs to call the office directly.

Birth, Marriage, and Death Certificated can be ordered and received from the office through the mail, call for details. Marriage applications can be notarized and mailed with payment to the office. For recording of documents and ordering copies of documents please call the office. Department of Natural Resources transactions call the office.

Property taxes, due March 31st, can be paid online: www.iowatreasurers.org

Vehicle registrations can also be renewed online: www.iowatreasurers.org

A PIN is required to use iowatreasures.org for vehicle registration and can be located on your registration renewal or received by calling the Treasurer’s office. For property tax you will need your receipt number from the tax statement.

A drop box will be available outside the west entrance of the courthouse between 8 and 4 PM.
