Wanda Elaine (Hemmen) Maier

Wanda Elaine (Hemmen) Maier, the daughter of Harold and Ruth (Seaboch) Hemmen, was born June 17, 1931 in Liberty Township, Hamilton County, Iowa. 

Wanda passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, at the age of 83, after a sudden and brief battle with cancer.   

A celebration of life memorial will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 2-4 pm at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada, Iowa, with a short service starting at 2:30 pm and reception to follow.   

In lieu of flowers, a “Wanda Maier Memorial Fund” has been established at First National Bank, 405 5th St., Ames, IA 50010, to be used for memorial contributions.
