Two Wright County Veterans will board 19th Honor Flight this Saturday

Veterans going on the 19th Honor Flight and their families gathered at the Webster County Fairgrounds on September 11, for an informational Dinner. Veterans receive their T-shirts, hats, and a lot of information about the day of the flight. The FEED SHACK by Howard Ball Catering provided a wonderful dinner for everybody who attended.

Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight will head out on its 19th flight to Washington, D.C. on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Because of last minute conflicts or illness only two veterans from Wright County will be able to make this fl ight.

The one-day trip will start by departing from the Fort Dodge Regional Airport aboard a Boeing 737 jet around 6:20 a.m. and should return to Fort Dodge at approximately 10:40 p.m. aboard this flight will be 162 passengers. Approximately 140 of those will be veterans. The rest will be personnel which includes a doctor, nurses, EMT, videographers and directors.
