The recent additions of Officers Drew Brownlee and Vic Slape brings the Eagle Grove Police force back to a full seven-member department, and both are excited to be here as the City prepares for the expected future growth.

“It’s a small town that’s growing, and will likely continue to,” said Brownlee. “That’s rather unusual for small communities in Iowa these days.”

For Slape, it’s a definite change from an urban environment that he’s used to. “I’m still adjusting to living here, but I feel it is a progressive community,” said Slape. “While I think people will be looking at the amenities offered here, we will see growth.”
