The scam is back

Several months ago, Joe McKinney, owner of Covenant Computer Solutions in Eagle Grove, announced that there was a phone scam hitting the area.  Callers told you they were from employee of Windows, Facebook, or Microsoft Tech Department and that your computer was having problems and you needed to have them corrected now, or major problems would follow.  All they needed to help was your computer’s password so they could help you remotely for a small fee.  IT WAS A SCAM.  Large amounts of money were taken from people’s bank accounts.
