Mobile Food Bank of Iowa coming to Webster City for all area families in need

Are you struggling to make ends meet? Worried where your next meal will come from? The Mobile Food Bank of Iowa is here to help. They will be in Webster City on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church from 4 - 6 p.m.

This is a first-come, first-served setting and open to all families in need of food. This service is not limited to Hamilton County residents - in fact, Wright County and surrounding area residents are all encouraged to come for food, free of charge, if they are in need. No I.D. is required. It is strongly suggested that you bring along a means to carry the food home - like a laundry basket, grocery bags, a box, etc.

According to Jean Ripley, one of the organizers of the Webster City event, said that when they hosted the first Mobile Food Bank of Iowa program in June of 2016, they helped more than 75 families and were out of food in only 45 minutes. During their next visit in December, 183 people were helped.
