Maria won her courageous battle with cancer and met Jesus on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family in Waukee at the age of 55 years. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
