Mama Cats final event

The Mama Cats, now in their second year of organization at Eagle Grove Elementary, held a free glow dance on Wednesday, May 18. The free event was held to promote student/parent bonding time. In addition to dancing, the kids and their special adult guests could participate in a few fun games, munch on a few goodies, and take fun photos like the one at top of Dora Salazar and Olivia Conaway. Each child received one free glow stick when they entered the dance. Glow rings and glasses were also available for a nominal price (to support programs next year). The Mama Cats are a group of volunteer parents who plan functions such as the glow dance to promote parents spending time with their children, school spirit, teacher appreciation, and more.
