Magical madrigal

 

As people came through the door, they were greeted by King Mike Moffitt and his Queen, Reba. They were announced to all by the town crier, Mike Ryerson. Fortunes could be read by Jo Elberg, and all royals have their jesters - Karla Tweeten and John Nett. There were also royal tumblers (Megan, Kaitlin, and Hannah Sampson), percussionists (Luke Snyder, Justin Schwake, and Elizabeth Schwake), trumpeters (Chris Dorr, Justin Sampson, Justin Schwake, Louis Shriver, and Karla Tweeten), a masseuse (Jim Toillion), and a sorcerer (Kelly Amonson). Lord Manners and Lord Chamberlin were none other than Kerry Amonson and Alan Linn.

A traditional Rennaisance-style feast of roast pork (complete with a pig head with an apple in its mouth) was prepared by Jessica’s Country Kitchen and served by the kitchen wenches (Janis Bartley, Andee Brekke, Lindsay Haugland, Amanda Johnston, Katie Kreck, Anna Nett, Steph Olmstead, Emily White, and Heather Wilson).
