Little Disciples plant seeds of love

Several members of the Samuel Lutheran Church Little Disciples, and a few of their friends, planted the seed of love at Rotary Senior Living last week.

The children of the Little Disciples regularly visit the residents, but for the last couple of weeks they have been working on a special project to surprise them with. After their church janitor resigned, the Little Disciples agreed to take over the job, saving up all the money they were paid to purchase starter vegetable plants to grow in a planter stand.

On Wednesday, May 16, under the supervision of Melanie Olson and Vicki Wagner, several members of the Little Disciples showed up on site at both the north and the south homes to plant the vegetables.
