Lady Eagles win Bronco Invitational team title

The Eagle Grove girls varsity cross country team put together a nice performance to take the team title at the Bronco Invitational hosted by Belmond-Klemme last Tuesday. The Eagles totaled just 54 points, as four runners finished in the top 14 and six in the top 25.

Megan Schafer crossed in sixth place with a 20:36. And was followed in order by: Kaitlin Sampson in ninth at 20:56; Megan Sampson in 13th at 21:03; Brianna Ell in 14th at 21:07; Alecia Anderson in 23rd at 22:10; Hannah Sampson in 25th at 22:22 and Lea Friedl in 42nd at 23:49.
