Lady Eagles play Cardinals, Wolverines

Last Tuesday in Garner, the Eagle Grove varsity girls lost to Garner-Hayfield/Ventura 69- 36. The Cardinals held a 52-18 advantage at the break.

Unofficial scoring totals show Natalie Vrba netting 19 points, followed by Jordan Kastler and Ariane Lyman at four points each. Kenzie Crail and Lea Friedl scored three points each, Kaitlin Sampson two points and Jozey Gump one point. Unofficial rebounding totals show Vrba and Kastler with five each followed by Friedl and Brittney Osborn at three each. Gump, K. Sampson and Lyman all pulled down one carom apiece.

“We continue to start games with a level of intensity that only gets you behind the eight ball and then you have to play catch up,” stated head coach Mike Herrington.
