Lady Eagle track & field compete at Cowgirl Relays: Rain ends the night a bit early
Even though rain ended the meet following the 800 event, the Eagle Grove girls track & field team still managed to get a good night of competing in at the Cowgirl Relays last Tuesday at Clarion-Goldfield-Dows.
West Fork took the class B team title with 215.5 points, followed by: West Hancock 209, Belmond-Klemme 207, St. Edmond 185.5, Eagle Grove 134 and North Iowa 92.
The 4x2 relay brought home the lone gold for the team, as combined to tour the track in 2:04.76. The distance med foursome of claimed second, with the sprint medley combo of taking third place. Flumerfelt kept a great start to the season going with a third place throw of just over 96 feet in the discus.
