Lady Eagle golfers defeat three teams in tri-meet action

Eagle Grove girls golfer Katie Blasi continued her hot start to the season in helping lead her team in two tri-meets and a dual meet in the past week. On Tuesday, they defeated both West Hancock and North Union in action at the Britt course. The Eagles posted a 224 total, followed by the West Hancock Eagles with 254 and the Warriors with 267.

Blasi was medalist by firing a 47 total. Other counting cards were turned in by Brandi Osborn with 55, Leslie Cooper with 57 and Elizabeth Varland with 65. Brittney Osborn scored a 69 in her round.
