Kruckenberg signs letter of intent with ICCC

Samm Kruckenberg signed a letter of intent last week to attend Iowa Central Community College and be a member of the Triton softball team. “It’s close to home, and is a two-year school with a four-year feel,” said Kruckenberg when asked why she chose ICCC. “It’s new and updated with a nice cafeteria.” She is currently thinking of majoring in education. “We love getting local kids that want to keep playing beyond high school,” said Triton softball coach Josh Sandin. “Eagle Grove kids have done well for our program, and so hopefully Samm will keep that going.” Pictured are: Front row, from left; mom Ranae, Samm and dad, Nick.
