Honoring Our Nations Heroes On Memorial Day

Monday, May 25, 2015 was the celebration of Memorial Day in honoring our nation’s heroes. Downtown Eagle Grove at Veterans Park at 9 a.m. was a short program followed by a memorial service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Guest speaker, Myron Amdahl, who previously served two years as Mayor in Eagle Grove, quoted Charles M. Province to describe what veterans mean to us in this community, as well as this nation.
