Goldfield park gets new playground equipment

Kids everywhere are looking forward to the end of the school year as warmer weather and sunshine have arrived, but perhaps none more than those youngsters who live in or near Goldfield who are excitedly planning on spending a little time at a different kind of “school” - the Goldfield Old School Park.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Goldfield Women’s Club, new playground equipment will grace the main street park by the time the summer bell rings. Hennigar Construction began taking out the old equipment on Friday, May 12, and the installers of the new playground were in town bright and early Monday morning, May 15 to get set-up underway - but it didn’t just all happen overnight.
