Fieldtrip to Fishpond Park offers lots to do

With the number of days left of school before summer vacation winding down, there is still a lot to be learned, but let’s face it, the kids are most likely focusing on summer more than they are about learning. That’s why the teachers are going out of their way to make learning fun - enjoying the spring air and taking advantage of all there is to be learned from things happening and offered right in our own community.

On Friday, May 13, the second graders and their teachers from Eagle Grove Elementary loaded onto buses and headed across town to Fishpond Park. It’s become a tradition for the second grade class each year to make the small journey across town in order to have a little fun, and give back at the same time.
