EGHS Volleyball for the win!

It was an emotional night for both the players and fans as the Eagle Grove volleyball team finally put it all together at the right time to score a five-set victory over Belmond-Klemme last Thursday on the Broncos home court. Scores were L26-24, W26-24, L25-23, W25-16 and W15-12.

Team serving was at 85.7 percent, with Sadie Stuhr going 23 of 24 with three ace serves. Kenzie Crail was 17 of 23 with five aces, Laine Morgan 16 of 17 with two aces, Hallie Jeske 14 of 16 with two aces and Hannah Beecher 11 of 13 with one ace. Natalie Vrba was 8 of 10 with two and Brittney Osborn one of two.

Stuhr set for 11 assists, with Morgan at nine, Hannah Demory at three and Vrba at two. Beecher finished with eight kills, while Crail and Vrba pounded seven each in the offensive attack. Morgan had five, while Demory chipped in two kills for points.
