EG HS band celebrates record year

Each year, Eagle Grove High School Band Director Justin Schwake recognizes outstanding senior members. These are individuals who go above and beyond in their pursuit of music greatness. This year, during the annual Music Banquet, held Monday, Mary 22, three young musicians were awarded very high honors.

The John Phillip Susa Award was presented to Lindsay Davis. It represents outstanding achievement in instrumental music and merit in loyalty. Having been a part of the EGHS band for all four years, and also serving as the Drum Major this past year, Lindsay was always ready to lead the way.
