Eagles edge Lake Mills 67-66

basketball team continues to gain confidence with each win, the latest of which was a 67-66 victory last Tuesday at Lake Mills. The Eagles held a slight 35-32 halftime advantage, and the game stayed tight throughout the entire second half. Even though the home team outscored them by three points over the course of the fourth quarter, the purple and gold held them off for a big win.

Spencer Espejo drained 26 points on 9 of 13 from the field and five buckets from downtown. Ryan Smith popped for 21 points on 50 percent accuracy from the field and a trio of three-pointers. Niko Padilla managed eight points, with Chase Blasi, John Mosley and Austin Hill all providing four points each to the total.
