Eagles drop finale to Central Springs

completed their season at homelast Friday night with a 37-0 loss toCentral Springs. The first quartersaw the Eagles stay close with justa 6-0 deficit after the period, only tohave the Panthers bust it open with a24-point second quarter.

“I felt we had a shot at it, butcircumstances early last week withgrades and ineligibility affected us,”said head coach Bruce Dahlhauser.“It seemed to set the tone for theweek.”

Dahlhauser felt good that histeam was still battling hard goinginto the second quarter. “We wantedto keep making them drive the balluntil hopefully our offense found arhythm,” said Dahlhauser. “Then itgot out of control for us in the secondquarter. Starting the game on theright foot is monumental. We neededsomething to ignite us, whether a bigplay, turnover or whatever.”
