Eagles drop final season match to Paton-Churdan

The Eagle Grove varsity volleyball team lost on the road to Paton Churdan by scores of 25-12, 25-21 and 25-20. Team serving was a 79.6 percent, with Kenzie Crail going 12 of 16 (one ace). Sadie Stuhr was 9 of 9, Laine Morgan 7 of 8 and Hannah Beecher 5 of 7. Hallie Jeske was 4 of 5 (one), Cali Schultz 2 of 2, Natalie Vrba 2 of 4, Michelle Mericle 1 of 1 and Malena Huse 1 of 2.

Stuhr set for five assists, with Beecher and Vrba adding two each and Morgan one. Beecher and Vrba had four kills each, with Morgan making two and Crail, Hannah Demory, Jeske and Stuhr all one each. Jeske had 15 digs and Crail 11, with Stuhr adding six and both Beecher and Morgan three each. Mericle and Vrba had two apiece, while Huse and Schultz added one each. Vrba made two solo blocks and Beecher one.
