The Eagle Grove Eagle welcomes Cari Sisson as new marketing consultant

Cari Sisson, the new marketing consultant at the Eagle Grove Eagle, is excited to meet you, get to know your business, and help bring customers in your door.

Cari Sisson has not been on the job long, but she’s already on the move throughout the entirety of Wright County. Sisson was recently hired by Mid-America Publishing to work as a marketing consultant for both The Eagle Grove Eagle and The Wright County Monitor. She is diving head first into her new territory.

Sisson grew up only a short drive away in Renwick and still lives there. She graduated from Humboldt High School. Sisson eventually attended Iowa Central College and then Buena Vista University where she graduated with a degree in Human Services. In the past, Sisson has worked at Iowa Specialty Hospital in the clinic, Goldfield Telecom, and for Alpha Media.

Sisson says that her job as a marketing consultant will be built around “helping businesses with their marketing strategies.” She will be moving throughout the entirety of Wright County on behalf of both the Eagle and the Monitor, selling advertising and getting to know business owners. Sisson is looking forward to making the rounds in the county and describes herself as “an outgoing people person.” She is excited to help those already advertising with the papers take their businesses to the next level with her marketing strategies and also add new businesses to the papers.

Having past sales experience with her previous jobs, Sisson says she is eager to help local businesses thrive while working in a smaller territory. She states that previous jobs required more driving around the state so being able to stick to Wright County will be a welcome change.
