Eagle cross country team sixth at Humboldt

It was a good showing for the Eagle Grove cross country team last Tuesday at the Humboldt Invitational held at Sheldon Park. The Wildcats feasted on home cooking to take the title with 41 points, followed in the top five of 18 complete teams by Fort Dodge with 108, Ogden with 127, St. Edmond with 128 and Clear Lake with 132. The Eagles were next in the standings with 173 points.

Jon Koester continues his strong season with a 19:44.34 for 29th place overall. Following him were: Justin Agtun in 34th at 19:52.34; Drake Weland in 36th at 19:54.12; Tomas Rolon in 41st at 20:04.09; Jacob Graham in 43rd at 20:05.35; Cael Wesselink in 54th at 20:17.02 and Jensen Cooper in 56th at 20:21.18.
