Dr. Moffitt named Dental Specialist of the Year

Drs. Jordan and Michael Moffitt have returned from attending the Iowa Dental Association’s annual meeting in Iowa City. During the meeting’s President’s Banquet Dr. Mike received an award as the Dental Specialist of the Year from the Dental Lifeline Network. The Dental Lifeline Network is a national charitable organization whose mission is to improve the oral health of elderly, disabled, or medically fragile people.

There are over 15,000 dentists and 3700 dental laboratories that participate by volunteering their time and resources to treat these patients. Nationally, close to $400,000,000.00 in volunteer dental work has been provided for patients via the Lifeline Network. In Iowa the Network Dentists have given over $6,000,000.00 in dental care. Dr. Mike Moffitt is a dental specialist in prosthetic dentistry, and has volunteered for the Dental Lifeline Network since 2008. Dr. Jordan Moffitt also volunteers with the Dental Lifeline Network patients.

A number of Eagle Grove and area residents have received dental care and new smiles at Moffitt Dental Center in Eagle Grove through the volunteer efforts of Drs. Jordan and Michael Moffitt.
