The Country Girl Bakery coming to downtown EG

There’s going to be a sweet new addition to mainstreet Eagle Grove coming very soon. The Country Girl Bakery, owned by Deb Smith, will be opening this February located at 223 W. Broadway.

Smith is excited to move her home-based business, which first opened on Valentine’s Day back in 2011 (known then as Two Eagles Bakery), to the back half of an already existing wellknown business - The Farm. As a sneak peek of what is to come, she will be preparing some of her favorite sweets at home but have them available at The Farm on Valentine’s Day, Thursday, Feb. 14. While you’re there, you can take a look at her new retail area in back.

“The opportunity arose for me to move my business and be a part of the mainstreet business district...so I took it,” said Smith excitedly.
