Community invited to help students celebrate at morning assembly

Autumn Peterson was proud to show Victor E. Eagle what she loves most about Eagle Grove Elementary during #lovemyschoolday. While there are lots of good things about her school, she said her favorite thing is “The Lunch.” Photo by Kim Demory

What is it that you love about the Eagle Grove Area School District? Here’s what some of the students in Eagle Grove said last April 11th, when they participated in (for the first time) in the Fourth National #lovemyschoolday campaign.

“Teachers who help.”

“The SmartRoom”

“Computers”

“We treat each other like family”

“Awesome Teachers”

“School is fun.”

“Amazing cooks”

“Fidgets”

“Because of our diversity”

“Miss Niehouse”

(Elementary school counselor)

“Flexible seating”

“We bleed purple and gold.”

“Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.”

“Pretty much everything.”

The teachers also enjoyed the opportunity to brag about their jobs, their co-workers, and their students. Some of their signs included:

“Para power”

“Nice kids”

“Our students”
