Come one, come all to Festival Hispano

Cinco de Mayo has been celebrated in the Eagle Grove community for the past several years, using it as an opportunity to bring different cultures together to enjoy a night of authentic food samples, music, and of course, piñata fun. While the kids get the opportunity to participate in Hispanic culture activities during school hours, during the evening, their entire family is invited to join them in the Eagle Grove Elementary gym to get in on the fun as well - and it’s all free.

This year’s Festival Hispano will be held on Friday, May 6 from 6 - 8 p.m. This celebration has become a highly anticipated event. Local Hispanic women will once again be preparing authentic Mexican food that will be free for you to sample. But don’t be late, or you might miss out. Serving begins at 6 p.m. with a variety of choices, but please note, servings will be sample-size only.
