Christensen to run at Drake Relays

Tiffany Christensen will represent Eagle Grove at this week’s 105th running of the prestigious Drake Relays. The senior qualified in the 1500, and will run her event on Saturday at approximately 12:55 p.m. during the high school portion of the meet. “I’m really excited to get this chance,” said Christensen. “It’s nice to see that my hard work and dedication has paid off. I’ve wanted to do this since middle school.” She is no stranger to the blue oval, having participated at that venue at the State Meet last May. She admits that might make a difference, but is still not sure it will help. “I’ll probably still be nervous because of running with girls I’ve never went against before,” added Christensen.
