Bryce Davis becomes new Eagle Grove City Administrator

After being the Wright County Economic Development Director since April of 2015, Bryce Davis has accepted the position of City Administrator for Eagle Grove. He replaces George McGuire, and will officially start his new duties on December 26.

“I see a lot of opportunity in Eagle Grove,” said Davis. “A large part of my job is finding assets in a community to attract and retain business. When this position came open, I felt it was the right time to make the transition. I felt I could keep Eagle Grove on a positive track forward.”

Davis is originally from Ida Grove, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simpson College with a double major in Entrepreneurship Management and Economics & Finance. He then studied abroad in Switzerland to receive a Master’s degree in Management before coming back to Iowa and accepting the Wright County position.

“Development is my forte,” said Davis. “I understand how to bring businesses into the county. I also have the financial knowledge to bring about positive change that will resonate for decades.”
